Podcasts are a great way to get positive messages and inspiring stories throughout your day. Whether you’re traveling to work or just want to learn something new, they’re a great pass time while getting things done.

Some people use podcasts as part of their morning routine. Others listen while they walk to the store or fold laundry. They are convenient, entertaining, and easy to digest on the go. There are all sorts of reasons to consider adding podcasts to your daily routine!

You can listen on your commute in the car or bus. A perfect way to tune out the world for a bit at home as well.

Why I love podcasts?

They allow you to listen and learn, while also completing other mindless tasks!

I’ll list some of my favorite podcasts that offer me daily doses of inspiration, insight, and humor. For each one, I’ve included a description of the podcasts and my reasons why they are my favorites. Each podcast differs in approach and covers a variety of topics, offering something for everyone. Without further ado, in no particular order, a list of seven incredible shows hosted inspiring people:

Disclaimer: These podcasts are open to everyone, not just a specific religion or race. Some of the content may be geared towards a specific group but that doesn’t mean others shouldn’t listen and benefit. It’s actually a good thing to learn about different groups and walks of life, you never know what you’ll get out of it 🙂

Need an extra dose of inspiration? These hosts got you covered!

This podcast is definitely among my favorites! It has helped me in gaining a great deal of knowledge, healing, and getting through some difficult moments. I usually listen to it in the morning to start my day and take notes in my journal. I love that we have brown and black girls to motivate and help others through these platforms.

Podcasts that have real and vulnerable hosts are hard to come by these days, which is why I’m so thankful to have stumbled across this one. They not only highlight relatable issues but also suggest practical resolutions or just something new to try. Also, I absolutely adore the fact that one of the hosts is a psychologist! Listening to black ladies with a positive attitude always puts me in a good mood.

I instantly fell in love with this one! A true game changer that I hope everyone takes advantage of.

Cat is like that genuine friend everyone needs in their life.  She always gives it her all, and that’s what I admire about her. I listen to this on my commute and it makes me feel both mentally and physically ready for my day. It doesn’t get any better than that!

Instead of making me feel guilty or ashamed for not always being my best self, the podcasts always leave me feeling empowered and hopeful with her topics that are relatable. Cat is really down to earth and funny at times. I enjoy listening to her shows.

I initially discovered Lavendaire on YouTube, and I was blown away by all of Aileen’s life-changing advice! I knew I had to listen to her podcast as soon as I found out she has one!! Aileen is really relatable, and I learn something new from each episode that I can apply to my own life to make a positive difference.

This podcast is very comforting and uplifting to listen to. I love how Aileen is discovering who she is and who she wants to be while being open with us on her journey. She’s as real as they get. Her voice is soothing and I was able to look at myself and see where I am in life, after having a quite unclear vision before.

A friend recommended I listen to Slay Girl Slay some years back when I was going through a difficult moment in my life making career choices, scary decisions, and simply organizing my life! Though I’m not where I want to be 100%, things are much clearer than before. I’m forever grateful for the impact this podcast has made on my life. Ashley, the host, has worked to establish a welcoming environment for women and has done a great job at achieving that.
